BUILDING MY OWN CUSTOM MATTRESS
Have you ever wanted to build your own mattress?
As soon as I met Gary from Custom Comfort I did. With the help of his amazing staff of craftsmen, I was able to build something that feels personal to me, from fit and feel, to the overall look of the finished product. This bed was made by me and for me.
COLE STERNBERG X LAX ART
In this body of work, artist Cole Sternberg, working with LAXART, creates a series of unique hand-painted rugs. Each rug is selected by Sternberg, painted by the artist and exposed to the elements of Los Angeles. The works decay, fade and take on additional abstract components as they are affected by human and natural elements. For instance, an early 20th century India rug is pounded by the waves on the rocks of Point Dume in Malibu, while others are tramped on the sidewalks of downtown, chlorinated at the bottom of a Hollywood Hills pool and wine-stained at a Griffith Park beggars’ banquet.
